Our waiting list is now open for Lilys next litter, hopefully early next year.

midnightstarsiberians@yahoo.co.uk or use the contact me option.

Please see our how to adopt page.

Please contact me if you would like to discuss being on the waiting list for Lily's next litter. If you are placed on our waiting list and decide for any reason, not to have a kitten from us please let us know, I will not be at all offended and it may give another person a chance of being owned by one of our babies.

Our kittens are our babies and I need to know that they will be loved for  all their lives, and be treasured members of your family.

 Kittens will be Tica registered

Please ask if you are interested in a 'show kitten' as we may have kittens under evalutation for show/breeding

Owning your kitten

Please do not ask to have a kitten if he/she will be allowed outside unsupervised.

A Siberian is for life, please consider this when thinking about getting a kitten from us.  If for any reason you are unable to keep the kitten/cat you must contact us in the first instance. Please please please do not be worried about contacting me if you find you can no longer care for her/him.

All kittens will be raised in our house, starting off in their kitten room then 'let out' into the house to explore when they are old enough.

Kittens will not leave us until fully vaccinated & health checked. We do recommend you take your kitten to be checked by your own vet within 48 hours of going to their new home.

Kittens will leave for their new homes from around 12 weeks old, depending on vacciantions etc. By this time they will be well socialised little bundles of joy.

If you reserve a kitten I will keep you updated with photos/emails of their progress.   Please return the favour by keeping us updated with new and pictures throughout their lives, I will allways be interested.

Kittens will leave with 4 weeks free petplan insurance, we do recommend you keep this up or obtain similar.

A box/bag of goodies including a sample of food, blanket and lots of useful information and toys.

Questions

Q.  Is it better for the kitten to have another kitten to play/live with (should I buy 2 kittens?) ?

A.  If you are planning on getting 2 cats, the best time, so that they bond and become very good friends, is when they are kittens.   When you purchase 2 kittens from us, they come to you together, and can keep each other company.  This is a great way to cut down on the animal's stress, and keep him or her occupied if you are at work. Siberians are extremely sociable animals and do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. Please keep this in mind if deciding 1 or  2 kittens.

 Q.  Will I be required to sign a contract or purchase agreement?

A.  Yes.  Please contact me for a copy of our kitten contract.

Q.  How big do Siberian cats get?

A.  Siberian cats can get very large.  They are the 2nd largest cat, second to the Maine Coone.  The average male cat weighs 14 - 15 pounds; females weigh 8 - 10 pounds. Most of their size is reached by the time they are 18 months old, but they can take up to 5 years to reach full maturity.
